The mission of the Center for Faculty Wellbeing and Development at UVA is to promote, support, and enhance the holistic wellbeing and thriving of all faculty throughout their careers. We accomplish our mission through programming, communications, and resources that enhance personal and professional development, inclusive and equitable workplaces, and develop supportive, collaborative relationships across the University.

Center FWD continues to collaborate with the leadership of the schools to implement workload dashboards and equitable service assignment processes.

Faculty Mental Health Collaborations

Center FWD is partnering with the Faculty Employee Assistance Program (FEAP) to provide care that is tailored specifically to challenges and stresses faced by faculty, and Telehealth Mental Health care is available through  UVA Aetna insurance.
